If you wish to keep using 5-1 ratio then good luck with that, you can tell me i am wrong as many times as you like, however it will not stop me using those ratio's when it suits and also anything you have said will not suddenly make those fleets start to flee ^^ How many have you tried it with ? i bet none because you simply read what kebab wrote about it and never tried breaking the 5 - 1 rule on a white player between 50 k and 500 k points Once you hit 50.000, the protection changes into a 1:10 ratio both ways, meaning you cannot attack anybody with less than 10% of your own points, nor can you get attacked by anybody with more than 1.000% your points.įleet escape, if active, is always 1:5 (1:3 possible with admiral) regardless of points.Īnd yet i have attacked people who was white under 500 k points with a 9 - 1 ratio more than once Until 50.000 points you cannot attack anybody with less than 20% your own amount of points, nor can you be attacked by anybody with more than 500% your own points (1:5 ratio both ways). It's the general noob protection, plain and simple. The 1:10 ratio has nothing to do with fleet escape /tactical retreat. which means you gotta be 99 ranks smaller in military from the guy attacking you / the guy you are attacking to be yellow. correct that a you can dodge that rule by making ALOT of military points (but you gotta turn yellow to dodge the other rule about 5 or 10 times total points). the noobie protect (green) works around total points. It does not really matter how big or small someone is in points or rank its to do with there military score, a player could be double your points, but still have a weaker smaller fleet than youĪlso, you cannot change the fact that the tactlcal retreat ratio changes to 10 - 1 after a player passes 50 000 points - to say the ratio stays at 5-1 is pretty stupid by any standardĪlso, you cannot change the fact that the tactlcal retreat ratio changes to 10 - 1 after a player passes 50 000 points - to say the ratio stays at 5-1 is pretty stupid by any standard Display Moreįeel free to prove that you can make a 9.99 : 1 battle you simplely cant ^^. Its you that are confusing things with this 5 times smaller - a player could be 5 times smaller than you in rank but your fleet could be 20 times larger than his Pretty sure this tactical retreat only applies to players that are white to you If a player is green to you then you cannot attack them There is honestly nothing complicated about thatĪnd what are you on about only before they are green ? If a player has more than 50 000 points and less than 500 000 points you can attack those players using no more than 10 times there fleet (total military points) There is a kind of solution for that too, though - you can use the shipyard boosters to speed up the building and have the shipyard available again. If a player has less than 50 000 points you can attack them using no more than 5 times there fleet and 3 times there fleet if they have officer Sometimes you desperately need to build a ship of a particular type very fast and are willing to lose some (most? all?) of the resources already invested in the building queue. I still think that they should have allowed the canceling of the shipbuilding at a price, though. It will stop and then resume the building once you cancel vacation mode. Fortunately, this problem was solved recently in a somewhat different way - the game now allows you to enter vacation mode while your shipyard is still busy. For instance, if you were getting back only 30% of the invested resources, nobody would use that for fleetsaving - and sometimes you simply have to terminate the process, for instance in order to go into vacation mode. Now, a reasonable objection is that they could have allowed the canceling of building at a price. Voila, resources restored, no need to fleetsave. Once you're back in the game (hopefully, after less than 11.5 days), just cancel the other ships and defenses and then cancel the building of the Death Star (which hasn't been built yet). It takes more than eleven and a half days to finish building it! After that, queue a variety of other ships and defenses, until all your resources have been invested. Then, when it comes time to fleetsave, queue 1 Death Start for building there. Just build, say, shipyard 12 on some planet or moon and no nanite factory. If you were able to cancel the ship building, you wont have to fleetsave any more. It took me a while to figure it out on my own (OK, maybe I'm too dumb), so here is a proper answer for the benefit of the original poster. After all, you can also hide resources in buildings and research - yet you are able to cancel those, right? This is the canned answer usually provided, but it is never explained why. Being able to cancel ships makes it too easy to hide resources.
